The historic 16th century Manoir de Sully

Imagine arriving for your holiday, with your suitably impressed guests in tow. You sweep through the tree-lined entrance and up the drive through the immaculately maintained, mature, walled gardens with the roses, courtyards, ornamental pots and sculptures, seating and dining areas, a fountain, a meadow, a pond and an orchard, into a warm and welcoming home. Candles and fires are ready to be lit, beds made and turned down, and linen and towels laid out for your guests. If you wish, even the fridge can be stocked. La Vie de Manoir could indeed be more than a dream for you and your family!

The Manoir de Sully has a large and elegant beamed drawing room on the ground floor with a grand monumental fireplace and a spacious beautifully equipped dining kitchen with stunning bespoke kitchen cabinetry that reflects the character of the period. All the walls are rendered in the original style of plasterwork, highlighting the rich existing ornamental stonework throughout the Manoir. All the imposing beams have been sandblasted and the flagstone floors have efficient and economical under-floor heating to create a warm and cozy atmosphere.

The magnificent historical circular stone staircase in the tower leads to the first and second floors. On the first floor are two very large master bedrooms, both with monumental stone fireplaces, high beamed ceilings and en suite bathrooms. One bedroom still has its original stone floor. The second floor has two more very spacious bedrooms, also with en suite bathrooms. The Manoir sleeps 8 to 12 people.
